Privacy Policy

Effective: August 2026 (beta)

What we collect

Account: your email address and the display name/photo you choose.
Vehicle records you create: vehicles (including VIN), fuel fills, service history, maintenance schedules, documents and receipts you upload, and reminders.
Telemetry you enable: if you connect an OBD-II device or record drives with the app, we store trip data (GPS positions, speed, engine readings, diagnostic codes) linked to your fleet.

How it's used

Solely to provide MotorLog's features to you and the fleet members you invite. Receipt and document images are processed by an AI service to extract text you asked for. We do not sell your data, run ads, or share your data with third parties beyond the processors below.

Supabase (database, authentication, storage)
Netlify (hosting)
Anthropic (receipt/document text extraction, diagnostic explanations)
Resend (alert emails you configure)
Google Drive (only if you connect it, for backups you initiate)

Sharing within a fleet

Fleet members you invite by email can see the fleet's vehicles, records, and trips. Remove a member at any time in Settings.

Retention & deletion

Your data stays until you delete it or your account. To delete your account and all associated data, use Settings or email privacy@motorlog.co.
